Long-time Five Points resident Heather Rayburn, the Western North Carolina chapter coordinator of the Carolina Butterfly Society, will have an information table at Neighborfest on Sept. 14, for people wanting to learn more about attracting and preserving butterflies.
"Butterflies are in trouble and need our help. Find out how we can increase butterfly numbers in our Five Points yards and patios and on the Reed Creek Greenway.”
Heather will also give two tours of her garden at 96 Holland Street on Sept. 15 at 1 pm and 3 pm. Email Heather at wncbutterflylover@gmail.com to reserve a tour spot. If it’s raining, we’ll meet on the porch.
